The purpose of the study - to reduce the risk of severe (disabling) neuro-psychiatric disorders and their complications in survivors from radiological emergencies based on the model of the Chernobyl disaster and the transformation of the Object "Shelter" into an ecologically safe system. Methods: clinical, neurophysiological, psychometric, statistical information, analytical. After assessing the needs in the provision of intensive neuropsychiatric assistance to victims of radiological emergencies according to the SRU, CER identified features of the dynamics and risks of neuropsychiatric disease in clean-up workers 1986-87, determined the structure of nervous and mental diseases in a randomized sample of the liquidators, registered in CER. The analysis of the dynamics of the severity of patients of the department of radiation psychoneurology for 2001-2010 was held. Defined the current structure of the neuro-psychiatric disorders in patients of the Department of Radiation Psychoneurology for I-III quarter of 2011. Defined the status of neuropsychiatric changes after operations on the object "Shelter", which may further condition the emergence and development of severe (disabling) of nervous and mental diseases. On the basis of existing regulations and orders of the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine developed the project scope, organizational structure and logistical support of the neuropsychiatric intensive care unit for victims of radiological emergencies. Developed algorithms provide differentiated neuropsychiatric intensive care in the structure of the medical response for radiological emergencies, depending on the phase of the radiation accident. The model and the regulations of the neuropsychiatric intensive care unit for victims of radiological emergencies based in the Department of Radiation Psychoneurology of the specialized radiological clinic. Prepared proposals for NAMS and the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine about the expediency of a block of neuropsychiatric intensive care unit for victims of radiological emergencies through the upgrading of the Department of Radiation Psychoneurology of the Clinic of SI "RCRM NAMS of Ukraine" Product Description popup.authors
