The goal of research is the development of theoretical basics of energy consumption norm and technologies of decreasing the level of pollutiong emissions with process integration. The method of research includes the use of process integration methods to determine the energy saving potential of processes for industrial sites of different economic sectors and the use of information methods for process simulation and the analysis of physical fields. The innovation includes determination of energy efficiency indicators with process integration methods, development of flexible hierarchical structure of industrial energy consumers, creation of new approarches to energy consumption of large sites and development of methods of calculation and simulation for catalytic recyclers of hazardous polluting gaseous contaminants. The most significant results are: development of principles and algorythm of energy consumption classification and appropriate hierarchical system; development of predicting tool of energy consumption decreasing for large industrial site; investigation of energy consumption decreasing for industrial processes; the importance of high effective heat exchangers implementation is underlined; development of calculation and simulation for catalytic recyclers of hazardous polluting gaseous contaminants. The results of the work may be used by industrial sites, sectorial industrial groups, scientific, research and project institutions and other appropriate organizations.
