Purpose of work is improve the theory and methods of receiving and processing information to provide consumers with reliable information. Method of research is a comparative analysis of existing hardware and software to create a VPN in order to obtain optimal solutions, adapted to real conditions of Ukraine. As a result of research analyzed the possibility of raising the efficiency of network URAN on the basis of multicriterion optimization of protocols. Carried out to develop and improve the methodology of creating a network within the functional (professional) working groups, which allows better use of existing networks as well as those who are at the design stage. On the basis of regional nodes in the network URAN (URAN - Ukrainian Research Academic Network) perfected the technology of information exchange between users in order to verify the theoretical results.
