It was shown that organic macromolecules in the prepared nanocomposite films reside in the regime of strong spatial confinement resulting in an increase of the photoluminescence by an order of magnitude. A method of synthesis of ultrasmall colloidal cadmium sulfide nanoparticles stabilized by guaninide-based dendrimers in dimethylformamide was developed. The size, size dispersion and spectral parameters of CdS nanoparticles depends basically on the dendrimer content in the dispersive medium. Methods of preparation of a series of new tris-(3-pyridylpyrasolil) borate complexes of terbium(ІІІ) ans europium(ІІІ) featuring comparatively high luminescence quantum yields of 30% and 10%, respectively, were developed. On the basis of the prepared materials model light-emitting devices were designed emitting electroluminescence in the visible range of spectrum.
