Lysychenko, Registration Date 28-03-2012 Organization The State Scientific Centre of Environmental Radiogeochemistry popup.description2 Report on scientific - investigation work (SIW) consists from 5 volumes: volume 1 - 400 pages, 55 figures, 45 tables, 187 sources, Annex; vol. 2 - 401 pages, 3 parts, 73 figures, 49 tables, 109 sources, Annex; vol. 3 - 183 pages, 4 parts, 24 figures, 31 tables, 44 sources, Annex; vol. 4 - 174 pages, 16 figures, 33 tables, 69 sources; vol. 5 - 111 pages, 28 figures., 3 tables., 105 sources. Object of investigation - natural and technogenic hazard areas in the zones of influence of potentially dangerous objects. The aim of the work- impact assessment of potentially hazardous objects (PHO) on the environment and determine the main factors of natural hazard and a theoretical and methodological basis of quantitative evaluation of environmental risks. Methods of investigation: system analysis, probability theory, GIS technology, physical and mathematical modeling and processes and phenomenas forecasting, occurring in zones of PHOs influence. Work results. Defined the sources and key factors of natural and technological hazards in Ukraine. Was made a comprehensive analysis of current theoretical and methodological approaches to the assessment of PHOs impact on environment, and developed generalized risk assessment methodology for environmental impact in areas of common PHOs and hazardous exogenous geological processes. A draft concept of "Expert analytical and information subsystem hazard analysis and forecasting of environmental objects" of The State environmental monitoring system. The criteria, principles, mechanisms and basic directions of state policy on management of natural and technical security. The influence of Southern Power Complex, Rivne NPP components on the environment, defined strategic options for minimization of radioactive waste repositories of Chernobyl origin on the environment. Identified threats to the environment from thermal (TPP), hydro (HPP), PSP plants in Ukraine, made the recommendations of the assessment of environmental risks caused by them. The analysis of environmental threats due to tritium contamination of ecosystems in the nuclear fuel cycle and radioactive waste storage Kiev enterprise "Radon". Provided safety assessment criteria for neotectonic tailings area placement of radioactive materials of Dneprodzerzhinsk industrial unit; risk factors analyzed in the development of uranium and related elements of the central part of the Ukrainian shield; estimated radioecological conditions of district placementof Volnogirsk mining plant, the preliminary risk assessment impact of uranium ore mining enterprise "Novokostiantynivska mine" on the environment. Modern state, functioning, problems and perspectives of Ukrainian road, railway and pipeline transport were analyzed. The maim items of natural and anthropogenic danger was defined. Practical use of obtained results. Results of SIW have scientific, research and practical value and can be widely used in public administration for nature and technical security, to address priority of environmental issues at national and regional levels in planning and developing measures. The results recommended for wide application in the Ministry of Ecology of Ukraine and Ministry of Emergencies of Ukraine, for regional bodies of state administration and control of technological and environmental safety as well as for educational programs of specialized high educational establishments and departments. NATURAL AND TECHNOGENIC HAZARD, ECOLOGICAL RISK, THERMAL POWER, HYDRO - ELECTRIC POWER, POTENTIALY DANGEROUS OBJECTS, INFLUENCE ON ENVIRONMENT, RADIOLOGICAL MONITORING, RADIOACTIVE WASTES, TRITIUM CONTAMINATION, URANIUM PRODUCTION, STORAGE TAILS, NEOTECTONIC INVESTIGATIONS.
