Purpose - to justify the theoretical and methodological basis for the creation and implementation of price policies in the field of forest management, taking into account economic, environmental and social values of forest ecosystems and the objective of sustainable ecologically balanced development of forestry sector of Ukraine. Methods of research - analysis, synthesis, deduction, induction, and statistical methods of data processing, comparison and analogy, the system-structural and structural-functional methods. It is proved the necessity of reforming the price and fiscal policies in forestry and institutional transformations, which provide for separation of functions of forest management and forestry management. The formation and implementation of price policy should be transparent, involving stakeholders. Coordination of interests should be provided through forest programs which are widely implemented in the practice of creating forest policies in advanced foreign countries. It is stressed that forest and price policy failures can be corrected substantially by the auction trade of roundwood in rough provided the procedure is improved. The other forest benefits pricing is analyzed from the perspective of changes occurring in the System of national accounting. They fix new theoretical and methodological developments in economic theory for practice. The national accounting gaps lead to an underestimation of the role of nature capital for social welfare as a whole and forest ecosystem role in particular. An option for the development of integrated environmental and economic accounting is making changes in classifications of activities and products to ensure the separate accounting of natural resource rent. It is proved that the price policy for hunting should be aimed at strengthening the economic incentives for sustainable environmentally balanced development by creating economic market pricing mechanism for resources of hunting that takes into account the national peculiarities of the organization of hunting management. To approach the aim the effective method for determining the rates of charges for special use of animal resources and hunting grounds is to be developed on principles of market economy and sustainable development. The mechanism of taxation of forest land on the basis of sustainable income from forest land is developed. It is proposed to consider the system of taxation of forestry and economic incentives for economic activities aimed at improving the absorption of greenhouse gases by forest ecosystems in complex with the pricing system in the forestry and price policy, as well as other policies.
