The purpose is to promote the theory and practice of antenna elements and hybrid reflector antennas for radio telescopes. The methods of research are mathematical modeling of processes of excitation and propagation of electromagnetic waves and numerical computer experiments. The mathematical model of the antenna system with the focal array for the numerical simulation of electro and noise characteristics of the system is designed. The model allows to calculate the system noise temperature taking into account the mutual influence between the elements of the array, the values of weighting coefficients of the radiation pattern shaper, the noise characteristics of multi-channel receiver with low-noise amplifiers. The optimization technique of the weighting coefficients of the arrays for a given uniform sensitivity in multipath sweep field of the telescope is designed.
