Objective: To determine the effectiveness of drip irrigation for growing seeds and mother plants of carrot, table beet, cucumber, compared with overhead irrigation and not irrigation background, as well as to identify the best ways to apply fertilizer at the background of different irrigation methods. Methods: visual, measuring, weighing, chemical, statistical, billing. The effective elements of energy-saving technology of cultivation 'mother plants of carrot, beetroot seeds and cucumber seeds were developed. Among these elements: drip irrigation on the background of local fertilizers, conducting of fertigation. Confirmed the feasibility of using mother plants stecklings in the cultivation of carrot seeds and beetroot seeds. The optimum density of plants and seed cucumber collection dates for drip irrigation were determined. Brought high economic efficiency elements of the technology of seed production of carrots, beetroot, cucumber (76-210% rate of return in comparison with the standard 21-151%). Elements of technology tested under production conditions both Novovodolazhskogo district and Kharkov district of Kharkov region. Obtained yields of carrot seeds at 340-625 kg / ha, beetroot 1,72-1,51 t / ha, cucumber 125-131 kg / ha, which provided the net income 35000-39600 UAH/ha, 67500-58300; 7500-8600 UAH/ha, respectively.
