The object of the studying is the deltoid ecosystems on the territory of the Danube Biosphere Reserve. The basic objectives of the work were the conservation of the natural complexes of the Danube Biosphere Reserve, biological diversity of the reserved territories in combination with the rational use of the natural resources, the supporting of the traditional kinds of the economical activity of the local population in the interests of the sustainable development of the Danube Delta region. In the global relation the matter concerns the social aspect of the problem “the man and biosphere”. In the applied option it is considering the nature-conservational and resort potential of the significant by the area (more than 50 thousands of hectares) protective deltoid territory and the possibility of its using without noticeable ecological with a view of increasing of the living standards of the local population, decrease of the level of unemployment and its pressure on the reserved delta, assistance to the economical development of the region on the basement of the sustainable using of the renewable natural resources. The methods of researches were the standard techniques of botanical, hydrobiological, ichthyological, herpetological and ornithological researches. As a result of the carried out work there were obtained the materials, concerning the permissible norms of cutting of the reed plantations on the territory of the Danube Biosphere Reserve, influence of the navigation, regulated hydro-, phytomelioration and optimization of the fish industry, influence of the regulated cattle pasture, recreational and tourist load on the deltoid ecosystems and there were prepared the regularly scheduled volumes of the “Chronicles of Nature”. The practical result of the scientific researches became the prepared grounds on the rational use of the natural resources and obtaining of the limits and permissions in the application of these works.
