The research goal is to develop the production process for manufacturing thin-walled small parabolic high-accuracy reflectors from deposited nickel and to study their strength characteristics. The study methods: laboratory experiment, systems and comparative analysis, experimental and theoretical methods. The results obtained: based on the method of electrolytic forming, production processes for manufacturing thin-walled small parabolic high-accuracy reflectors (in particular, reflector-type aerials) from deposited nickel are developed. Patent studies confirm the efficiency of application of a developed technology for manufacturing such structures. A prototype of a parabolic reflector is manufactured. Inner stresses in deposits are determined for given conditions of electrolytic forming, and residual stresses in manufactured structural elements are calculated using a proposed procedure allowing their strength serviceability to be estimated.
