The study is performed based on the systematization and analysis of actual and published materials received as members of OSENU and other organizations engaged in the field, experimental and laboratory work to assess the air pollution of natural water, soil, and so on. We examined the methodological approaches to the assessment of air quality, water bodies, soil, geology, environment, bio-climatic and hydro resources, and other components of the recreational potential, the main components of urban systems and others. In this research assessed the current state of natural environment and the feet of their anthropogenic transformation, water supply, wastewater and waste management, landscape conditions, recreational facilities, the impact of pollution on human health, as well as comprehensive assessment of the environment in urban areas of Odessa region.
