The subject of the study is to develop scientific and methodical support of design and development work and calculations of an efficient fire safety system for a grain combine. The methods used: information and analytical method, mathematical modeling, methods of hydrogasdynamics, heat and mass exchange, theoretical mechanics, system theory. The main results of the study: a new concept of improvement in GC fire safety is developed using facilities for prevention of fires and their fire-fighting integrated in GC; new designs for realizing a concept of the GC fire safety is proposed; new mathematical models and techniques are considered and existing ones are improved to calculate and choose design and development parameters of assemblies and units of the GC fire safety system. The results of the study can be used for working out recommendations on creation of efficient fire safety systems for grain combines. Applications: scientific and methodical support for development of efficient fire safety systems of grain combines.
