The aim of the work was to study the statistical characteristics of the sea surface at different spatial scales using wave stereo system. The research method is experimental method. For the experimental data processing spectral and statistical methods were used. Wave stereo system ability to produce angular spectra as short and long waves was demonstrated. Wave stereo system can be used to study fundamental problems such as the dissipation of wave energy. Scientific workshop was held in France, Brest, IFREMER to discuss the results of joint research on oceanographic platform.
