The study goal is to develop and create new designs of high-efficient and reliable prototypes of PSUZVs for special firearm which will have optimal sizes, the mass and cost and noise suppressors of a high-temperature gas jet with solid particles. The research methods: methods of visualization patterns of gas flows in transparent models, methods of gas dynamics. The results obtained: the main lines of the development of advanced designs of sound suppressors are presented, high-efficient and reliable prototypes of these devices are created and implemented; a prototype of the noise suppressor of a supersonic high-temperature gas jet with solid particles is produced. The novelty: high reliable and efficient PSUZVs possessing optimal sizes, a small mass, optimal cost are created. Applications: armament and military equipment; machine-building.
