The aim of the work is theoretical providing and decision by on the basis of concrete approach questions of the considerable improvement physical and chemical and technological properties constituents of sheet metal composites (matrixes and fibres). Methods of investigation which have been used: optical metallography, X-ray spectral microanalysis, X-ray structure, dilatometric. Results of the work: The possibility of significant improvement in corrosion resistance and wear resistance of the sheet ferritic heat resistant steel products by ionic nitriding surface is shown. Are developed the technological regimes of nitriding for the diffusion layers that contain epsilon-phase, gamma'-phase and epsilon-gamma 'phase. Are developed the principles of obtaining the chemical composition of the new economically alloyed ferritic steels for products operating in different conditions. The dependencies between technological parameters of processes of obtaining tungstenthorium pseudo-alloys and their density are established. This made it possible to determine optimization ways of the technology of pressing and sintering of these materials under the conditions of concrete production.
