Subject of investigation - the formation of a humanitarian environment of a technical college/university.The significant changes of the requirements for the quality of education raised the actuality of the formation of a humanitarian environment of a technical college/university in the context of the humanitarization of higher technical education. The purpose of the second phase of the investigation is to determine the main directions of the process of the formation of a humanitarian environment in a technical college/university, according to results of a Pilot experiment. The experiment based on the hypothesis that the formation of a humanitarian environment must be an interest of all departments of a technical college/university, under the leadership of Social - Humanitarian Department. Novelty - the assumption that the use of innovative methods of the educational process in the conditions of the developed humanitarian environment will mostly contribute into a prospective model of a new specialist was substantiated, based of the results of a Pilot experiment. Effectiveness - 1) strengthening of the humanitarian component of students' of a technical college/university general culture of thinking, 2) improvement of teachers' professional skills through implementing of innovative and experimental professional activities, 3) improvement of methodological support of the educational process by using the opportunities of innovative technologies. The results of the investigation must be incorporated into the learning process and proposed (through publications and presentations at scientific and scientific - methodical conferences) for testing in other Ukrainian technical colleges/universities.
