The structure of bulk materials of target was investigated by X-ray diffraction method. The structure of laser deposited films was investigated by transmission high-energy electron diffraction method. The most typical defects of thin films Bi2Te3 and Sb2Te3 have been investigated by transmission electron microscopy. The electrical properties of thin films on the basis of Bi2(Sb2)Te3 obtained by pulsed laser deposition were investigated.
