Purpose was to determ interrelation of animal systemic organization as an integral structural and functional unit of the Steppe Pridneprov'ye ecosystems exist in ever-growing influence of anthropogenic factors. Methods include conventional accounting invertebrate and vertebrate animals, colorimetry, atomic absorption spectrophotometry, biochemical and statistic process (basic statistics, correlation and analysis of variance). The obtained scientific data marked novelty, have scientific and practical value and meet international standards of modern ecology. They show various and full participation zoocenosis as an important structural and functional unit of the Steppe Dneper ecosystems. The work is aimed at establishing the structural parameters of animal populations and its relationship complex with environmental conditions of exist. As a result of study, were determined the structural parameters of animal populations and communities in natural and transformed ecosystems, and litter decomposition process by representatives of destructors in different types of ecosystems. The role of excretorial and fossorial activity of vertebrate animals in biogeocenotical processes was shown; the dynamic characteristics of animal life indexes and its impact on environmental properties of soil in model experiments were characterized. The scientific results have significance for soil decontamination processes, development of accelerated biological remediation methods, and protection and increase the species and taxonomic biodiversity of natural and man-affected areas. Scientific results are the basis for biotechnological development of environmental protection measures and will be competitive due to their low economic value and ease of use. The research results may be used in coal-mining industry to restore and optimize landscapes; land rehabilitation, protection of natural resources, creation of recreation areas, for use in forestry, national parks, as well as enterprises of coal industry, the State Committee of Forestry of Ukraine, State Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of Dnipropetrovsk region.
