Purpose of research is to determine laws between formation conditions of gas-liquid dispersions and their quantitative characteristics under different formation conditions, obtaining a water-based compositions, brown coal and liquid hydrocarbon fuels, as well as setting the properties of these emulsions, suspensions, depending on the composition and the study of electrical phenomena in disperse environments, computer programs for processing video images of physical models development . The method of study - an experimental synthesis of gas-liquid dispersions and their parameters evaluation by means of specially designed video processing software, experimental synthesis of combined emulsions, suspensions, based on brown coal, oil and water, study of electrical phenomena in dispersive mediums on the basis of the measuring cell. Defined the relationship between surface area of gas-liquid dispersions and mode of gas-liquid interaction; defined influence of structural changes in the parameters of the blowing unit on dispersions parameters; designed video processing software in a heterogeneity of lighting, noise background and low contrast, considering overlap and aggregation of elements, determined gas-liquid dispersions interphase boundaries, the jets lengths and the distribution of dispersed phase concentration zones, obtained combined fuel emulsions based on coal-water composition of brown coal and liquid hydrocarbon fuels and determine their properties, determined the influence of the electric double layer on frequency characteristics of dispersed media in inter-electrode regions. Research results can be used in technological problems of formation of the most developed dispersions surfaces at gas-liquid interactions and evaluation of quantitative characteristics of gas-liquid dispersions, to solve segmentation problem for dispersed formations elements on video, to define the structure and parameters of the different types dispersions; for receiving stable combined fuel emulsions -suspensions on the basis of brown coal and liquid fuels and determinating their properties. The results are used in the development of Ferrous metallurgy institute of National Academy of Sciences for improving out-of-furnace iron treatment process (desulfurization) and schemes for its implementation. The research results contain a number of "know-how" at determining design value and process parameters, equipment operating modes and the calculation of its elements.
