The aim of research is to establish laws of transmission, reflection, diffraction and scattering and conversion of electromagnetic waves by complex electromagnetic objects that contain the impedance and nonlinear elements and structures. Methods of research are the methods of experimental research based on reflectometry, applying the principles of holographic recording, a quasisolution method, finite-differences in time-domain, integral equation method, the method of moments, the method of minimum duration, discrete Fourier transform. Multifrequency wideband scattering characteristics of objects, which are located in free space and behind dielectric screens are experimentally obtained. Improving microwave image is achieved by developing the theory of signal recovery based on the principle of minimum duration. Methods of Gel'fand-Levitan-Marchenko and Newton-Kantorovich are improved. Influence of the complex elements of connection to the resonance phenomena in resonators is estimated by using a rational and multiexponential approximation. The distortions of spatial and temporal shapes of wave beams and pulses are evaluated in layered Bragg structures (photonic crystals). The finite difference method for the analysis of a thin nonlinear dielectric layer is modified. The characteristics of the Bragg reflection of sliding waves and their interaction with the wave beam on a metal plane with quasiperiodic impedance plot are obtained by the modification of the method of moments using the atomic functions. Time dependences for nonlinear processes on a nonlinear film in the Bragg resonator are found at non-stationary quasi-harmonic excitation. The novelty of listed above results is confirmed with their approbation at the international conferences. The fact of the implementation in the educational process chair of applied physics and computer of DNU is confirmed by relevant the implementation act, duly approved. The results will be used in the theory and practice of scientific research institutes and organizations in the electronics industry and implemented in such areas as non-destructive test equipment control, radar, space and mobile communications, information and computer systems.
