On the printing firms activity research results there were considered the main methods of digital images evaluation and problems, that appeared during applying such methods in printing firms. Digital images evaluation procedure was formalized and means for color reproduction optimal procedures integration into existing color management systems for applying in printing firms were offered. Color reproduction optimal procedures using neural network and neuro-fuzzy technologies in conditions of open printing systems, that allow to work out the method of through image quality management in all reproduction process stages were formalized. This method can be used in printing firms to get prints with stable color characteristics to provide the printing production quality increasing. Modified method of image properties description in all stages allows to design the complex system of quality evaluation. Its adoption will provide the increasing of corresponding technological processes management level and will enable to reduce essentially the information supply costs during communication channels data transfer between separate links of printing production.
