A mathematical model describing the behavior of a table grape variety has been developed which makes it possible to establish whether it can be cultivated on a commercial scale under definite agroclimatic conditions. To do this, such factors as warm temperatures supply and the risk of damage by frosts occurring with different probability in a definite climatic zone enter as the key criteria. The model developed enables modeling the location of table grape varieties with different ripening terms in a desired zone taking account of its agroclimatic conditions. Recommendations as to the location of commercial vineyards depending on their variety composition and the agroclimatic conditions of an area have been provided.
