Experimental samples of IFCSM were obtained by impregnation of the fabric carrier of artificial and synthetic fibers. Cheap sodium carbonate and hexamethylenetetramine were used as impregnating agents. The dependence of the dynamic activity of the IFCSM from the concentration of sulfur (IV) and nitrogen (IV) oxides was studied. We obtained the conclusion of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Examination of Ministry of Health of Ukraine No. 05.03.02-07/114431 from 25.11.2011 about agreement of the IFCSM samples with Ukrainian laws. As a result of laboratory testing of experimental models of respirators "Snejok" GP-B and "Akatsiya" GP-B, equipped with protection elements made of the developed IFCSM, agreement of the materials with DSTU EN 405:2003 has been proved. Successful production testing of respirator masks has been done on the Enterprise "Ukrainian Research Institute of Transport Medicine" of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Recommendations on a priori choosing and rational (cost-effective) use of protective elements of respirator masks were developed. The results of the work allow expanding the range of sorption-filtering materials used for respiratory needs, to increase the profitability of their production, to reduce Ukraine's dependence on imports of ion-exchange fibrous materials, and have export-oriented focus.
