The object of study - dynamic and stressed-strained state (perturbed by defects) of inhomogeneous engineering and natural structures, optimal projects of cylindrical shells with cellular interlayer aggregate. The objective of study - to construct new models and methods of study the nonlinear dynamics, contact interaction of elastic and elasticoplastic composite thin-walled elements of designs with regard for peculiarities of structural construction and loading conditions, deformation processes of inhomogeneous natural structures. The methods of study - the methods of nonlinear mechanics, direct methods of integration the differential equations, analytical-numerical methods, experimental-analytical methods, method of inverse problems of elasticity theory. The refined mechanical-mathematical models and methods of investigation the stressed-strained state of inhomogeneous elastic structures - multi-layered shells with different configurations of median surfaces of layers and layered elements of Earth's crust have been constructed. The analytical expressions for natural frequency spectra of two-layer plates-strips with composite components pliable to transversal shear and compression have been obtained. The solution of the problem on the stressed state of elasticoplastic shells (made of functionally gradient materials) weakened by interacting surface cracks has been obtained. The analytical-numerical method of study the residual stressed in the shells relating to determination of welding stresses distribution in pipelines has been developed. The problems on the crack closure in the plate under bending on the elastic basis by concentrated forces and limit equilibrium of shallow shells under bending on the elastic basis have been formulated and solved. The results obtained have been used in the faculty of physics of the Earth, Ivan Franko Lviv National University for computer modeling the interaction between the crust and the Earth mantle and for calculation the stressed-strained state in compressed sedimentary formatitions and also to study the stability and optimal design of cellular constructions in "Energoresource-Invest" corporation.
