Purpose - to investigate the biochemical mechanisms of correction by complex polyphenols of wines on pathological changes in the metabolic processes of peripheral blood cells under ionizing radiation. Methods: Biochemical, immunocytochemical, cytomorphological. It was shown that consumption of wine polyphenols by rats in drinking water decreases activity of NO-synthase, level of products of lipid peroxidation as well as compensatory reaction component enzymatic antioxidant system in peripheral blood under influence of low-level ionizing radiation. Evaluated the decrease in the content of fragmented DNA, DNA-comet formation and increased expression of anti-apoptotic protein Bcl-2 in immunocompetent blood cells. Established cytoprotective effect of natural polyphenols complexes of wine under influence of low-level ionizing radiation on the population structure and functional state of peripheral blood erythrocytes, which is manifested in the activation of erythropoiesis and leads to the exit of young erythroid cells in the peripheral blood which characterized by the increased resistance to acid hemolysis and high content of sialic acids in the plasma membranes. It was shown the adaptogenic effect of red wine on bone and brain blood myeloid cell under conditions of prolonged exposure of prolonged low-level ionizing radiation.
