From the rejected coal samle taken from rhyzosphere of birch Betula pendula 6 actinomycete strains have been isolated. Resistance levels to transition metals (Fe, Cu, Zn, Cr) in S. coelicolor, S. sioyaensis and coal isolates have been determined . S. sioyaensis keeps its population level after 22 months of cultivation within rhyzosphere of birch. In in vitro experiments, S. sioyaensis and four actinomycete isolates demonstrated different growth efficiency, which increased under conditions of cocultivation.
