After processing of the hydrobiological and hydrochemical samples taken in the water reservoirs of river basin it were ascertained the hydrochemical composition and determined the dynamics of the structural indices of plankton, benthos and nekton communities of water basin hydrocenoses. It were elucidated the indicator species of water organic pollution level. It was analyzed the species diversity based on species list, quantity and biomass of plankton and benthos communities in the water basin biotopes with different level of contamination, it was carried out the bioindication by indicator organisms. Afterwards was made hydroecological assessment of the river and it was proposed the criteria of biotope state evaluation.
