Journalism Department popup.description2 Objects of studies: polymeric composites on the base of conducting polymers, which are filled with metallic, mineral and carbon (nanotubes) particles, as platforms for the chemo- and biosensors. Purpose of work: creation of general principles for the production of the nanostructurized composites on the base of conducting polymers and nanoparticles of different nature (as a fillers) as a perspective materials for the chemo- and biosensorics. Methods of studies: cyclic voltammetry, chronoamperometry, electrochemiluminescence, UV and IR spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, scanning electrone microscopy, atomic forces microscopy, X-ray diffraction. Composites on the base of conducting polymers (polyaniline), which are filled with metallic (Ag, Au), mineral (silica-glauconite, TiO2) and carbon (multiwall nanotubes) micro- and nanoparticles has been synthesized and its electrochemical, spectral, thermal properties and also morphology and structure has been studied. The novel technique of the silver micro- and nanoparticles synthesis was developed. The produced composites were tested in the scale models of the sensoric devices of different architectures as sensitive materials and as platforms for the enzymes immobilization. It is determined that properties both the composites and sensors on its base depends on the affinity of polymeric matrix and inorganic filler. It was shown that the modification of the surface of filler particles by the grafted covalently organic layers (metallic particles - by the mercapto-derivatives, carbon nanotubes - by the arenediazonium salts) improves considerably the sensitivity and operation characteristics of sensoric devices.
