Journalism Department popup.description2 As the result of project performance, the complex of new original results related to the nature of luminescent centers created by the Pb2+ і Ві3+ ions in oxides with garnet, perovskite and Al2O3 structure, has been obtained. These results enable to determine: 1) the regularities of formation of the luminescence centers of by the mercury-like ions in oxides with different structure types; 2) the energetic scheme of such centers relatively to the band gap extremes; 3) the excitation mechanism of luminescent centers of different nature created by the Pb2+ і Ві3+ ions; 4) the peculiarities of energy transfer processes in the phosphors based on the single crystalline films of mentioned oxides,doped by the rare-earth ions with 4f-5d transitions and lead and bismuth ions.
