Existing equipment for heat energy generation and possibilities for adoption of local fuel combustion technologies were analyzed. Main requirements for local fuel combustion technologies and energy equipment were substantiated. Analytic and experimental investigations of local fuel combustion in municipal boiler houses by the example of baled straw combustion were carried out. Based on received results practical recommendations for the reconstruction of existing houses were developed, as well as feasibility study and organization approaches to involve local fuels for municipal heating needs.
