The level of serum vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), beta-2 microglobulin, and oncogene BCR / ABL with its mutational status were estimated. The new target drugs, requiring evaluation of specific modes of application and development of laboratory effectiveness monitoring were used to treat patient. CML patients were treated with tyrosine kinase inhibitors imatinib mesylate and nilotinib. Patients with multiply myeloma received immunomodulator thalidomide and the protesome inhibitor bortezomib, either as monotherapy or combined therapy. The effectiveness of immunosuppressive therapy with cyclosporine A was studied in patients with myelodysplastic syndrome. The results were used for developing "Clinical protocols of care for patients in the field of "Hematology", and introduced in the practice of Hematology Department of the 5th Clinical Hospital of Lviv, Advisory Policlinic of SI IBPTM NAMSU, Lviv Regional Consultative Policlinic, hematological departments of regional hospitals and oncology centers. The research results allows to develop a strategic directions in hematology, sectoral programs, insurance programs for hematological patients, which reduces the public cost for hematology service.
