The purpose of the work - study of the reactions of halides of carboxylic acids with amines and sulfonates in thе inverse transphase catalysis (ITC), the links between structure of the phenols and their acid-base properties, determination of antioxidant activity aldimines of gossypol, a study of the structure and rheological properties of the surface layers of anionic surfactants. Methods of research - infrared and ultraviolet spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance, potentiometric titration, tensiometry, dilated rheometry, quantum-chemical calculations. The dilatation rheological properties of the surface layers of salts of native and sulfonated humic acids and sodium dodecyl sulfate have been studied. The results obtained permit to recommend humic acids as substitutes for biopolymers and to manage the properties of various dispersed systems. It was investigated the interaction of benzoyl chloride with sulfonates and amines in medium of water-dichloromethane in the inverse transphase catalysis. It is established that the method is applicable to ITC benzoylation of amino acids and water-soluble amines. It was proposed a new, more sophisticated, approach to the study of the relationship between structure and reactivity of phenolic compounds. It was studied antiradical activity of some Schiff bases of gossypol and found that these compounds are effective antioxidants. Studies are needed both to improve and develop the theory of the inverse transphase catalysis, and are important in terms of "green chemistry" because they have to study the reactivity of organic compounds in water and generate new useful substances using natural renewable raw materials.
