Objective: Develop methods for the synthesis of new ionic cyclometalated Iridium complexes, donor-acceptor dyads, separated by phenylene bridge, establishing patterns of structure - the electrical and chemical properties to determine the prospects of their use in molecular electronics. Methods: methods of UV-spectroscopy, gas and liquid chromatography, NMR and EPR. The scientific value of this work is the first time, synthesized a stable donor-acceptor dyads based on oligo(3,4-ethylenedioxy)thiophenes and 1,4,5,8-naphthalenetetracarboxydiimide with a phenylene bridge, acceptor and donor fragments of which have been modified linear and branched alkyl substituents, and a thiol-containing group. For newly synthesized cationic cyclometalated Iridium(III) complexes showed a high electroluminescence efficiency. The practical value of the study - are synthesized new molecular and oligomeric conjugated systems can be used in molecular and optical electronics to create materials for molecular switches and elektrofluorescence organic light-emitting devices.
