Methods - IR-spectroscopy, DTA, X-ray difraction method, functional analysis, standart sorption methods. It has been designed method of sorbent preparation by alkali activation with thermal shock, wich allows to essentially increase sorbent surface area (from 1000 to 1700 m2/g) with simultaneous decrease of alkali consumption. It has been optimized conditions of obtaining of coke with international quality stadards (reactivity index CRI 30%, hot rigidity CSR 60%) by afteroven coke modification with sodium tetraborate solution. Practical significance consists in possibility of high quality sorbents and cokes obtaining from cheap domestic raw products.
