The objectives of investigations: revelation of structural-lithological regularities for construction of promising salt bearing, placer titanium-zirconium and gold bearing formations, having to serve as a basis for computer prognostic models. The methods of investigations: geological and computer modeling basing upon principles of structural-lithological dismembering and geoinformation technologies. The methodology and special methods for prognostic structural-lithological models of sedimentary bodies have been developed on the example of geological objects within the limits of salt formations and placer titanium-zirconium and gold bearing deposits. A number of analog and computer models of promising geological objects have been compiled. Computer structural-lithological models provide possibility to produce a number of derivative cartographic materials - point sections, profiles and maps, reflecting characteristics of structure (hypsometry of roof and bottom, form of geological bodies, peculiarities of internal construction etc.) as well as qualitative characteristics of structure elements (matter compositions, geomechanical properties, zones of superimposed processes spread etc) including their geometric position within the volume of geological medium. The examples of proposed computer structural-lithological models show a solution of numerous tusks: multyscale prognosis for mineral deposits, selection of sites for underground constructions, estimation and prognosis of dangerous geological processes (karst, holes, subsidences) within territories of human made intervention into salt massives environment.
