Specific peculiarities of mechanisms forming deep and weak cyclones have been revealed. The frequency distribution of heavy precipitation for various blocking indexes in different anticyclone parts has been obtained. The reasons leading to a particular distribution have been found. The spatial distribution of daily mean precipitation and its positive anomalies have been investigated. Relations between precipitation forms and Lejenas-Okhland index for the blocking of the Western Flow have been found. The potential for the use of the variational approach in a posteriori estimating statistics of different parts of the cost-function has been approved.
