Theoretical processing of the problems of multifunctional forestry idea was done. Natural region potential and preconditions of multifunctional forestry development was examined. Based on the method of remote Earth filming, materials of forest management analysis, and nature researches, the region territory division according land using categories was received, and maps of forest users placing, forest spreading, prevailing species placement and region territory deviation according forest plants condition types, ware created. A general estimation of Roztochya forests transformation under the influence of economic activity was made, and level of the woodlands actual and potential productivity for main forest types was defined. There was developed a function classification for prevalent type of Roztochya woodland - beech forests, and conceptual principles for sustainable forestry in beech woodlands. Major tasks ware identified and basic principles of multifunctional forestry development ware designed, what became the basis for the development of general model of environmentally-balanced multifunctional forestry management in terms of "Ukrainian Roztochya".
