The concept of protection from earthquakes, focused not on time forecasting of earthquakes, and earthquake design and implementation of housing and industrial projects based on objective knowledge about the quantitative parameters of the real seismic hazard in areas of their location and specific construction sites. The theoretical basis and procedure of finite-difference migration of primary routes by common source point (CSR) for study the deep structure seismically hazardous areas are worked; the proposed finite-difference migration of primary data by CSR was tested for significant volume model and practical materials, particularly in the Carpathians area. The methodology and software for neural-network modeling of the phase travel-time curves of seismic waves and its inversion are worked. The spatiotemporal structure of the Earth's magnetic field on the territory of Ukraine was considered by the results of magnetic surveys and observations of geomagnetic observatories "Kyiv", "Lions" and "Odessa". The environmental aspect of magnetic perturbations, including perturbations of the daily variation is considered. The methodology for monitoring of the magnetospheric-ionospheric processes by data from the magnetic observatories is developed. This methodology is optimal for the providing magnetic observatories in Ukraine.
