The object of study is the link of nominative structure and commemorated (motivation)/ The problem which was solved is the study of motivational relations in the vocabulary of Ukrainian language. As a result of the survey common types of motivation were found on the material of the Ukrainian language; typical models of motivation were outlined on the example of selected thematic groups; the basics of motination Ukrainian dictionary were worked out; sampels of articles of motination dictionary were offered; connection of motivation with emotional and stylistic coloration words was discribed; importance of motivation involved in the process of speech communication was found/ The theoretical value of reseach is to develop the theory of lexicology on the basis of determined motivation of occurrence of the nominative ynit as an important factor in the development of a lexical system, justify the theoretical foundations of studing the phenomenon of motivation vocabulary in the creation of lexical files, atlases, dictionaries, textbooks for higher and secondary school. Processing of the actual lexical material within the proposed project helped to clarify the mechanisms of selection of the conceptual system of native speakers or any of those motivators, reveal intentions of internal programming of motivational base of nomination, that it is necessary to develop a modern linguistic providing of dictionaries (mainly terminilogical ones), textbooks (linguistic terminology), computer databases in various field of science.
