The purpose of the research: development of strategy of selective synthesis of monophthalocyaninates of lanthanides with axial ligands of different nature, and di-and triphthalocyaninates of lanthanides, research of photophysical properties of the complex compounds and on the possibility of realization of 4f-luminescence in near-IR region. Methods of synthesis of planar monophthalocyaninates of lanthanides, containing axial ligands, di and triphthalocyaninates were developped. It was established that exciting in the UV region mono-, di and triphthalocyaninates show the intensive fluorescence at 690-770 nm. The value of red shift depends on the nature of the lanthanide and decreases from Nd(III) to Lu(III). 4f-luminescence of Yb(III) in solid samples of monophthalocyaninates was observed only for compounds containing the axial ligand. In the case of phthalocyaninates of sandwich-type 4f-luminescence of Yb(III) is absent in the double-decked and present in three-decked complex, which is probably due to the resonant interaction between the chelators and a large number of closely-spaced macrocyclic chromophores.
