A purpose of work is an estimation of water exchange in the system of "channel-floodplain-estuary" to develop recommendations on ecological rehabilitation of the river Dniester delta's by wind-surges phenomena and biomelioration functions of plavs. Methods of investigation are expeditionary researches; processing of cartographic material and satellite pictures of water objects of estuarine area of the river Dniestir; mathematical modeling of fresh waters of the river Dniester inflow to Dniestrovskiy estuary in the conditions of global temperature rise; lateral inflow to estuary and penetration of halocline of salt waters; hydraulic calculations of water exchange in the system of "channel-floodplain-estuary"; ecological analysis of indicator macrophytes association with determination of specific composition, structure of life-form, trofology, character of the hydrotopic distributing, partial activity of life-form. Results and novelty - a scientifically methodical base is developed and hydraulic-morphometric characteristics of water objects of estuarine part of the river Dniester (streamside lakes, river-bed system, estuary) for determination of modern water exchange in the system of "channel-floodplain-estuary" are determine; analyze of wind-surges phenomena on the area of Lower Dniester are given; physical-geographical conditions and basic hydrological descriptions and size inflow of fresh waters of the river Dniester to Dniestrovskiy estuary in the conditions of global temperature rise are estimated; gidrochemical, saprobiological and hydrobiological descriptions (including the state of spawning-grounds) in background hydrotop of lower flow of the river Dniester; lateral inflow of water to Dniestrovskiy estuary and penetration of halocline of salt waters to the water objects of Lower Dniester are calculated; the scientifically grounded recommendations in relation to the measures of the ecological rehabilitation of estuarine area of the river Dniester due by wind-surges phenomena and biomelioration functions of plavs are developed. Recommendation for the use of results of work - results of work can be utilized for determination of necessary measures of the ecological rehabilitation of estuarine area of the river Dniester due by wind-surges phenomena and biomelioration functions of plavs. Industry of the use is a protection of natural environment, water industry, fish industry, recreation, tourism and other.
