The purpose of research consisted in the development of the technological methods of optimization of heat-exchange processes in crystallizer and in ZVO by the external force actions on a liquid metal for the intensification of crystallization process and improvement of quality of continuously cast flat bars and pipe half-finished product. The selection of the EMP parameters and vibration treatment for the given type of steel and alloy is done, the EMP influence and vibrations on heat and mass transfer processes, formation of structure, physical and mechanical properties of metal is established.
