It is studied the optical properties of glasses as spectra of absorption, photo- and radio-luminescence. It is established the absolute light yield of the glass activated by bismuth oxide as maximum wavelength of 690 nm, absorbance limit of 300 nm and luminesce time of 3 ?sec. It is established the possibilities of application of Li2O-B2O3-P2O5-CaF2-Bi2О3 glass as the thermal neutron meter in the presence of gamma-rays.
