The optical ceramics obtained by the method of two-stage crystallization has the form of glasses with crystallized surface in which the density of surface filling is approximately 30% and the content of the main phase reaches 70%. In the obtained ceramics the second harmonic of Nd laser is not generated due to the absence of predominating orientation of SrB4O7 crystallites.
