Paton Electric Welding Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 Results of researches of pulse high-energy plasma streams influence on a metal substrate with simultaneous stimulation of structural transformations and diffusions of alloying elements are presented. Researches have shown that surface processing of constructional and tool steels, hard alloys and cast iron promotes improvement of a structural-phase condition in the surface layers (depth - up to 60 microns). Wear resistance of the modified layer increases in tens times. Friction loss decreases in 2 - 4 times. Durability of the modified material increases in 1.5 - 2 times. Pulse-plasma technology industrial implementation has shown that the developed technology increase of working capacity of knifes, saws and rollers in 2 - 5 times. Working capacity of rolling rollers (ВК-8 and ВК-20) has increased in 1,6 times. Working capacity of punching tools has increased in 2 - 4 times. Results of this work are actual for the Ukrainian science, as well as for industry. Feasible industrial implementation area: mechanical engineering, metallurgical industry, aviation industry.
