It ensures necessary operation properties of work pieces, in particular funnels, at saving properties of a coverage in a zone of a weld seam with exclusion of necessity of its repeated drawing. Research techniques consist in technological simulation of process of the joint of materials with a metal and ceramic coverage, in detection of dependence between parameters of a process and quality of gained joints, methods of optical metallographic, holding of trials of the gained joints on a mechanical strength and matching operating conditions. Theoretical both practical results and novelty: the opportunity of creation of welding practice of materials with a metal or ceramic coverage which consists in opportunity of essential lowering the cost price of work pieces which are fabricated from them, in particular funnels is theoretically justified and practically proved. It is ensured due to exclusion of labour-consuming and expensive subsequent operation of restoring of a cap layer in a zone of the joint, expenditures of accessory materials, saving of power and technological expenditures. Implementation of results of exploration and development of matching technique consists in increase in a resource of maintenance of finished articles. A subject and extent of a heading: results of operation, namely the created high-efficiency "know-how" of electro welded thin-walled tubes it is approved in Paton electro-welding Institute of National academy of the Ukraine. Issue of funnels for municipal economy for application in hot and cold water service and creation of high-pressure tanks, in particular for fire bottles, at the factories of the Ministry of industrial policy of Ukraine is recognized schedule. Efficiency of a heading: at application of the designed welding practice of thin-walled tubes with a cap layer, saving of metal can make 50…70 %, with matching lowering the cost price of work pieces which are fabricated from these funnels.
