Results of development of various array structures, equipment for their excitation and processing of information about the reflected signals are described. Acoustic route of transmission variant of ultrasonic flaw detector using EMA-transducers with pulsed biasing was studied. Advantages of the acoustic route are considered at nondestructive testing with short-focus and long-focus pulsed EMA transducers. Results of development of a sample of flaw detector with pulsed excitation of EMA-transducers for detection of delamination and corrosion damage in welded sheet structures are given. Modern technologies of ultrasonic testing based on phase arrays are studied, which essentially improve testing efficiency, simplify result interpretation, increase its validity and information content. Technology and equipment for tangential X-ray examination based on fluorescent single-crystals and CCD-matrices were developed. Studied is the possibility of application of magneto-optical method without intermediate carrier of information on magnetic scattering field of defects, but directly with magneto-optical transducer. Main requirements to leak-detector design are defined, mock-ups of the device for gas sampling are developed, optimum modes of application of sensor optoelectronic leak detector are determined.
