For gauging of viscosity of high-temperature slag melts, in our opinion, the vibrating method most of all approaches. He allows us to spend viscosity gauging in a wide temperature span (1000 - 1700С). Is at the given method and a deficiency: it is necessary for us to know viscosity of the gauge fluids precisely. For gauging of viscosity of calibration fluids the rotation method of definition of viscosity on a viscosimeter of Reotest 2.1 was used. The existing equipment for gauging of viscosity of melts (a high-temperature viscosimeter of a construction of Shtengelmejera) has been developed. The system of recording of an electrical signal of a viscosimeter was subject to upgrading. The procedure of regulating of oxidative potential of system gases-slags-metals by means of a gas intermixture and makeup of slags is completed. The procedure of fusion of slag systems is completed at gauging of viscosity with change of gas intermixtures which move in the cabinet in a fusion time. It is conducted viscosity explorations over the range from a melting temperature to 1700С several slag systems in the presence of oxygen in a gas intermixture.
