Mathematical models of the viscous-elastic and high-elasticity behavior of layered PVC- based TCM were developed, finite-element calculation methods of the TCM thermo-mechanical state in the area of welding were worked out; dosage criteria of thermal, mechanical and electrical energy in the course of welding of artificial leather and PVC films were estimated, experimental samples of welding equipment and welding technology, welds of products and structures made of artificial leather and PVC multilayer films that are used in mining, chemical, light industry, medicine and everyday life were manufactured as well as welds of the unplasticized PVC pipes with a diameters of 63 - 110 mm that are used in the construction of different pipelines.
