Thermodynamic calculations show the virtual absence of formation of carbides, and in the air - the possibility of oxidation with the formation of oxides and carbonates of copper. Implemented a program of experiments to obtain a composite material of copper-CNT powder metallurgy methods. In all samples, with the introduction of CNT (0.5, 1.0, 1.5%%) showed an increase in electrical conductivity in comparison with samples of pure copper, produced in a similar way. The increase in electrical conductivity of the most stable in the composite with 1.5% CNTs. A slight increase in microhardness in the absence of selection in the structure of the additional phases indicates a possible increase in resistance of the composite material to wear. The results obtained allow to recommend further investigation of the influence the content of the nanotubes on the electrical properties and office moving current leads.
